Work
Five projects across commercial, residential, civic, and mixed-use typologies. All produced during the UC Berkeley Extension program in interior design and architecture.
Melting Pot
"A space like a stew — diverse ingredients, one remarkable whole."
Mixed-use housing and dormitory for students, young professionals, and families at Berkeley. Le Corbusier's pilotis system meets a color-coded modular grid — structure out of chaos.
Hans Zimmer Studio
"Serene — an inspiring space surrounded by nature and sunlight."
A case study in designing space to serve the creative mind. Sited at Lake Tahoe, Sand Harbor. A warm and inviting contemporary brutalist studio drawing from Tadao Ando, Mies van der Rohe, and Kengo Kuma.
Newark Civic Center
"Dialogue — a warm exchange between the city and its people."
How can we blur the line between government and its people? A civic center that feels welcoming rather than imposing — open office, main hall, and public lobbies designed to invite, not intimidate.
The Gaps Apartment
"From nothing to something — confidence built line by line."
A hand-drawn exploration of The Gaps Apartment by Block Architects. The journey of learning design communication — from blank paper to precise floor plan. Line weights, architectural lettering, and spatial clarity through restraint.
Home Again
"A steppingstone providing hope and opportunity to those who seek."
A full-service shelter for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Complete construction document set including demolition plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior details, finish schedules, and kitchen cabinet details. Produced under MaRI.
